A quick post on the most gorgeous space (ever) in the heart of Bangkok – with a name like The Never Ending Summer, how could I not make a visit? Located beside the Chao Praya river, it is easily accessible by a cab / uber / grab / water taxi from Saphan Taksin BTS Skytrain Station to the Millennium Hilton, which is just located beside The Neverending Summer – it’s a very enjoyable breezy boat ride so enjoy!
The food: considered expensive, even for Singapore standards (The crab omelette was priced at 1,980 baht!!). Teddy and I shared the dishes above and a pandan lemongrass drink, which came up to a total of 1,250 baht. The whole barramundi and the green curry with pork, longan and brandy were about 500 to 600 baht each. This green curry is said to have been made from scratch everyday; I liked that it was not overly watery and was rich! Portions are quite big / food is pretty decent (think 3.5 / 5 sort of rating) but you really are paying for the gorgeous ambience and lovely lighting.
